Certified Welder

Job Description Basic Function Perform standard and specialized welding procedures in addition to supporting manufacturing processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set-up, clamp, and perform welds for production (tack, GTAW, GMAW, stud welding) Must be fully able to weld variety of materials such as 300SS, Aluminum, Hastelloy, Carbon Steels Determine welding technique required for performing the weld under a variety of conditions and 4 positions. Perform all required welding prep work and post operations such as buffing, grinding, grit blasting, etc. Must be able to pass PED certification testing on stud and butt plate to ISO and ASME standards. Weld prototype tooling and fixtures for production based on verbal direction. Familiar with jigs and fixturing techniques to perform required welds. Support company continual improvement initiatives. Ability to follow all safety procedures. Regular attendance and the ability to get along with others in a team. Other duties to support production as assigned.
