**Description**

High Steel Service Center has a 200,000-square-foot facility with 150,000 tons of capacity. A full-line metal processor and distributor, High Steel Service Center offers carbon steel, aluminum flat rolled, and stainless steel products.

- We are currently seeking several order pullers to join our 3rd shift operations. Ideal candidates will have availability to work Monday - Friday from 10:30 pm - 7:00 am.

**Order Pullers** will work in a safe and efficient manner to pull material from stock using a forklift, crane, or sideloader. They will then be required to package the pulled material for shipment. Candidates must be able to work from order sheets to determine material and packaging requirements.

**Areas of responsibility for our order pullers include:**

* Will read and understand work orders and be able to carry out instructions listed on work orders

* Operate material moving equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and sideloaders

* May need to jockey tractor trailers to load plates in the proper sequence

* Operate various hand and power tools to safely package material for shipping

* Ability to work with a computer for restocking and shipping purposes

* Keep accurate inventory records within our ERP system

**Work qualifications and education requirements:**

* High School Diploma or GED

* Previous manufacturing or warehousing experience, required

* Experience operating a crane, forklift or sideloader, required

* Ability to work in both a team environment and as an individual contributor

* Proficient in basic math skills; including reading a tape measure and using fractions and decimals

* The ability to work overtime, up to 60 hours per week, required
