summary Structural Welders needed for our Centrally located client manufacturer of complex engineered skids 3-5 years experience Structural welding in a shop environment Ability to read blueprints, schematics Proficient with welding processes Exceptional math and measurement skills Qualified candidates must pass weld test 3G & 4G MIG/Flux-core Resume required 1st shifts and 2nd shifts $20-$27 DOE required-skills: Proficient in assigned welding techniques * Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including the ability to read weld symbols * Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys. * Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) * Conventional and precision measuring instruments * Process inspection, certification, and documentation * Welding equipment maintenance and inspection * Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools * Safety and Housekeeping * Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor JOB SKILLS * Ability to read blueprints * Proficient with the welding process * Ability to fill out inspection forms
