Program Details:
OB/GYNs Needed for First Assist
Backup Available to the MHAS Physicians; General Surgeons available 24/7.
2 to 3 Providers in clinic daily.
REQUIREMENTS:
100-200 Deliveries in the last 2 years
25-50 GYN visits annually
No record of discipline by any medical organization
Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Hospital and Clinic Details:
MHAS Providers in clinic Mon-Thurs, 8a-5p, and on-call after hours. Fridays are 8a-12p in clinic and on-call after hours. Saturday and Sunday are on-call only.
Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 50
Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 600
8 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) rooms
Nursery - Level 1
