About the Position

We are looking for a Transport Driver to be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering ethanol / fuel (gas and diesel) to a variety of locations while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team. We use Peterbilts and Kenworths, mainly Cummins 565HP with 18 speeds. This is a dayshift position starting between 5:00am - 7:00am, with Fridays and Saturdays off.

Youll report to the Transport Driver Manager and working out of Bozeman or Butte, Montana, focusing on these key responsibilities:

+ Deliver fuel to a variety of locations to include Gas Stations, Construction sites, large freight and equipment companies, etc.

+ Requires Current CDL Class A

+ Hazmat, Doubles Triples, Tankers preferred

+ We can aid in acquiring endorsements

+ 2 years driving experience in Class 8 vehicle

+ Must be able to drive a manual transmission commercial vehicle

+ Strong customer service skills

+ Current Driver Certification Card (Physical)

+ Must be able to pass:

+ Drug Screen

+ Reference Check

+ Background Check

+ Motor vehicle records check

+ Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all D.O.T. industry and company safety regulations

+ Must be capable of analyzing and understanding general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government rules and regulations

+ Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume

+ Must be capable of problem solving in stressful situations and making decisions based on training provided

+ Other duties as assigned

Requirements

+ Current CDL with hazardous material, tanker, and airbrake endorsements or the ability to obtain.

+ Must pass a drug test, reference check, background check and motor vehicle records check before hire when driving hazardous materials.

+ Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all DOT industry and company safety regulations.

+ Willing to work long hours to meet customer needs, including evenings and weekends

+ Ability to read and analyze general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government rules and regulations.

+ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.

+ Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.

+ Experience operating a manual transmission helpful

+ Strong Communication and organizational skills

+ Knowledge and experience in the fuel and oil industry preferred

+ Customer service experience

+ Computer experience

+ Will be using a tablet for dispatches and Electric Logs daily

+ Will use digital displays at the racks and customer sites
