The Occupational Therapist providesinstruction and education to the patient/caregiver to promote the safeexecution of the facilitatory techniques taught. The Occupational Therapist supports andcontributes to the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center and the HomeCareand Hospice Services Department. EDUCATION /TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:Required: One yearexperience in acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, mental health or outpatient setting LICENSES /CERTIFICATIONS:Minimum: CurrentOccupational Therapy certification or be eligible for certification by theNational Board of Certification of Occupational Therapy (Certification-eligiblecandidates must successfully complete the next available examination in orderto continue employment.) Current CPR certification Current California Drivers LicenseEligible to be insured under the Medical Centers Liability Policy with DMVReport (and minimum age 21) Proof of current auto insurance coverage (no business exclusion)SKILLS /KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Must demonstrate technical competence, professionalclinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient andfamily.
