About Us: Creative Dining Services is a leading provider of innovative dining solutions for educational institutions, corporate campuses, senior living communities, and more. We're committed to creating memorable dining experiences that nourish the mind, body, and spirit.

Role Overview: The Action Cook is a valued Dining Services Residential Department member responsible for assisting in producing over 10,000 meals every week. Their primary duty is to create and facilitate high-quality, international-genre variety meals that are flavored, prepared, and displayed to the expected standards.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Culinary Support: Under the guidance of the Executive Chef, the Action Cook prepares food items for the international menu station, following established recipes and maintaining food freshness, quality, and appeal.
  • Kitchen Support: Store food items according to established standards of practice; utilize proper labeling and dating.
  • Maintain Cleanliness:Maintain production records and logs (food usage, overages, shortages, customer counts, etc.). Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation. Ensure that all sanitation guidelines and health codes set by local and state Health Departments, as well as OSHA, are being followed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of Professional Culinary Experience (International Culinary Variety Preferred)
  • Serv Safe Certification
Work Schedule:
  • Hours: 10:30 am - 7:30 pm - Monday through Friday
  • Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
