Job Title: Project Manager

Job Function: Supply Chain Operations

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of the project while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization. Reports to VP of Global Supply Chain and Program Management, Operations. Located at the Unigen Headquarters, Newark, CA.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage Team
  • Direct the activities in planning and implementing new projects.
  • Helps the team to define the project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • 3 Works with the team and other leaders from various departments helps define the tasks and identify the necessary resources.
  • Ensure key processes are established, documented, and followed within the Project team.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function through training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
2. Oversee, manage, and conduct
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Allocate project resources, support and direct team, lead quality assurance where necessary
3. Provide expertise and drive and coordinate cross-functional cooperation
  • Analyze and recommend strategies that enable unconventional thinking, encouraging flexibility at key points throughout the project while maintaining continuous progress.
  • Provide periodic analysis of the project, provide visibility to broader organization on drivers that contribute to data/results and propose/drive opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in Supply Chain, Production, Engineering and Quality meetings to collaborate, provide status of existing projects, and foster and guide new projects in the future.

Other duties and responsibilities related to inventory control, as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  2. Proven working experience in project management
  3. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  4. Exceptional PC skills Experience with Word, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  6. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Pay Range: $29.00- $31.00/ Hour
