Job Summary

Dynamic growth-driven company is seeking a self-directed talent to handle strategic sales and marketing presentations to Contractors, Dealers, and Builders to grow both new and replacement product business within the Minneapolis - Plymouth area for residential and light commercial products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Sales/Marketing strategy for the territory to ensure sales and market growth per plan.
  • Conduct "lunch & learn" training sessions to educate contractors and dealer sales personnel on the assigned products
  • Identify / Target new customers in underserved markets
  • Develop value-selling solutions to highlight products and mitigate competitors
  • Communicate with Distribution to ensure on-time delivery to all customers.
  • Review dealer performance and assist in optimizing sales and financial results
  • Maintain Key Account Plans for Top 10 Customers
  • Work closely with Branch Operations, Application Engineering, and Service groups

Requirements:

Skills:

  • Strong Business acumen
  • Strong computer skills and experience utilizing a CRM application.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, problem-solve, and be both assertive and congenial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge:

  • Building Products sales or marketing preferred
  • Experience in Dealer Development / Improvement preferred
  • Knowledge of HVAC Systems a Plus

Education and Experience:

  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Five or more years of experience working from a home-based office
