Avera is currently seeking a highly motivated Physician Compensation Director with experience in relationship building and collaboration with senior medical group leaders Position Highlights: * More than a career Avera is a mission-driven organization focused on people and our communities. * Lead and provide executive level collaborative discussions with each physician relative to their professional activity. Collaborate with the Vice President of Clinic Operations in these key senior level physician trust building discussions. * Positive and productive team environment. Job Summary Responsible for collaborating with physicians, recruiters, medical group leaders, and Avera support departments to create continuous transparency within the economic and compensation model of each physician. Responsible for building and maintaining physician trust in all Avera tracking and management systems which pertain to the economic and compensation models of each practice. Responsible to collaborate with Vice Presidents and CEOs in preparation for dialogue with physicians relative to key professional volume and compensation topics. The director works directly with CEO, VP, and Physicians. Collaborates with the Director of Practice Management - Planning & Information Integrity to understand the plans, feasibility analysis, and key professional practice volume metrics which apply to each physician's practice. The Director shall advocate for systems and processes which provide excellent internal controls in the area of physician compensation calculation and physician compensation administration. The Director is responsible for the adherence of all established policies related to physician compensation. Education and/or Experience * Bachelor's degree is required. * Five to ten years of experience in building and growing physician relationships is required. * Five to ten years of experience in collaboration with senior medical group leaders is required. * Excellent organization skills, written and oral communication skills, and skills in the area of contract analysis and collaboration with legal counsel.
