Labor & Delivery or postpartum acute care CNA experience, 30 CEUs in perinatal nursing within the last year, 200 hours perinatal clinical experience within the last two years and/or a formal perinatal training program within the last two years may substitute for some of all of this requirement OR successful completion of an approved training course/orientation and standard competencies within six months of hire.Bilingual Spanish is preferredCredentialsRequired: State of Oregon nursing licenseRequired Upon Hire: Basic Life Support.Required Upon Hire: ACLS and NRP AHWONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring within six months of hire, renew every three years.SkillsDemonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs. (Required) Demonstrated ability to promote positive interpersonal relationships and patient/family centered work environment.
