POSITION PURPOSE:
The Talent Acquisition Representative I is responsible for working with store management and field merchandisers to provide full life-cycle recruiting to ensure Albertsons/Tom Thumb is hiring the most qualified candidates for the job requirements, compensation levels, and store culture. Ensures that the company's overall recruiting strategy is consistently applied across division(s) and is competitive to attract and retain the best talent in the marketplace.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Attend campus and local job fairs to support with recruitment efforts. Develop contacts and partnerships withcommunity organizations. 25%
2.Oversee and monitor any in-store recruiting efforts. 15%
3.Coordinate and participate in New Store Openings, In-Store hiring events and external job fairs. Responsible forIn-Store hiring signage and job postings. 15%
4.Monitor full life-cycle hiring process for stores. Effectively manage applicants through applicant and hiringsystems (Virtual Edge, Asurint, etc.). 10%
5.Train AC's and store management on all components of hiring process. 10%
6.Oversee and monitor new hire onboarding process. 10%
7.Compile and distribute required reports - Courtesy Clerk, Food Utilization; Hire above Contract (HAC) andPromote Above Contract (PAC), District Hiring Scorecard, 30-day Survey Results, etc. 10%
8.Other duties as assigned. 5%
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Education Level:
B.A./B.S. Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field is preferred.
Experience Level:
The most appropriate level of experience for this job is three plus years in a HR related role or recruiting function with emphasis in training, management coaching, employee relations, conflict resolution and management/organization development.
Skills and Background:
•Proven ability to manage a fast-paced, high volume hourly hiring. Retail industry experience highly preferred.
•Ability to manage the recruiting process while building and maintaining strategic relationships with businessleaders.
•Online recruiting experience preferred.
•Must have a high degree of initiative, be a team player and be able to multi task.
•Ability to manage confidential information.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills.
•Results oriented problem solver with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
•Working knowledge of application tracking system and background check process highly preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Division-wide travel, up to 70%.
