Stainless Steel Welder

Advanced Process Technologies Inc. (APT) serves the Food & Dairy Industry designing custom equipment from concept to installation. We have the experience, talent, and expertise to help our customers stay ahead of the competition while giving them the support they need to succeed. We are looking to add a Stainless Steel Welder to our team. Working a flexible schedule in a clean, climate-controlled shop with a team environment, you can expect to build custom designs using both TIG and MIG processes.Basic Job Functions:•Read and interpret drawings•Read measurements to weld assemblies using a variety of measuring devices•Assemble components using a variety of powered and hand tools•Set up and adjust welding equipment to perform high quality welds •Operate a variety of grinders to prepare, clean and finish welds •Daily production goals based on schedule to ensure on-time, high quality project completion•Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyRequirementsRequired:•High School Diploma or GED•TIG & MIG welding experience•Ability to read and interpret drawings•Strong attention to detailPreferred:•2 years' experience as a welder •Experience with sanitary equipment fabrication•One or two year welding diploma from technical college or relevant welding experience•Knowledge of relative safety standardsEmployee Benefits:•100% Employee-Owned ESOP Company•Flexible Schedule•Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance•Paid Time Off/Paid Holidays•Bi-weekly Thursday Paycheck•Health Savings Account (HSA)•Company Paid Virtual Healthcare Services•Company Paid Life Insurance•401(k) with Company Match•Boot Reimbursements
