Job Description:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Registered Clinical Dietitian to join our Medical Weight Management (MWM) team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing nutrition education to MWM patients, ensuring that all guidance aligns with program guidelines. The MWM program operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, requiring quick thinking and adaptability.
In addition to working with MWM patients, you will also provide counseling for Outpatient Nutrition Counseling Services. Your expertise will extend to developing and teaching nutrition classes for corporate and community groups, as well as assisting with health screenings as needed. Flexibility and a commitment to meeting the needs of both the department and the Corporate and Community Health Promotion (CCHP) program are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nutrition education to Medical Weight Management (MWM) patients according to program guidelines.
- Offer counseling services for Outpatient Nutrition Counseling when not working with MWM patients.
- Develop and teach nutrition classes for corporate and community groups.
- Assist at various health screenings as required.
- Maintain flexibility to meet the needs of the department and Corporate and Community Health Promotion (CCHP).
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- Must be a Registered Dietitian and hold an active Dietitian license in the State of Ohio.
- Must maintain credentials with continuing education as required by The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare facility or private practice.
- Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
