Travel: N/APosition Description | Electrical EngineerAs the Electrical Engineer you will provide electrical engineering design support for power plant design, substations and equipment including component selection, design integration, fabrication, and operation.Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:•Engineering support for shop and field service personnel including preparing design solutions as needed.•Collaborate with Lead PE for shop project questions to streamline communications, keep shop projects moving forward, and build your knowledgebase.•Develop one-line, three-line, and schematic drawings.•Prepare electrical equipment specifications.•Sizing/selecting components including breakers, fuses, cables, and wiring.•Collaborate with technical departments to create standard processes and checklists for common shop and field tasks and practices.•Sales team support for customer questions and meetings when needed.Requirements:The ideal candidate possess an Electrical Engineering Degree and has significant experience in Power Distribution. You should also be able to work independently and be excited about the opportunity to refurbish electrical substations from some of the most competitive and largest companies in the USA.
