Under the direction of the department director, the Clinical Coordinator has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in the department. QualificationsMinimum Education X Associates degree in Nursing X Required X Bachelors degree in Nursing X Preferred Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Skills Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required ACLS within 6 months of hire PALS within 6 months of hire Handle with Care Certification within 6 months Required Skills Licenses: Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or multistate license. Minimum Work Experience Must have six (6) months of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a direct patient care setting. Five years of clinical experience preferred
