•Directly assist Radiologist during all aspects of invasive procedures and perform CT scan examinations as directed by the Radiologist.
•Communicate clinical observations during CT Scan examinations to Radiologist.
•Present clinical history as recorded on appropriate documentation to Radiologist.
•Ensure patient CT questionnaire is completed for each patient and reviewed prior to start of exam.
•Perform 3-D imaging functions.
•Provide educational information to the patient regarding their examination.
•Maintain confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/Entity as well as the proper release of information.Qualified candidates will possess:
•High School Diploma or GED required
•Completion of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with an emphasis on cross sectional imaging, and/or CT preferred
•1 year scanning experience preferred
•Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferredLicensed by the State of Maryland
•Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
