Associated Scaffolding is seeking motivated, career-driven individuals to join our team

Job Description:

Construction workers are the backbone of any construction company or job site. While being a laborer, you will have to load and unload scaffolding from trucks to the job sites and mobilize the equipment to the designated area. After all the equipment is in the correct location, you will begin to assist with the erection or dismantling of a scaffold. You'll find yourself performing many of the tasks stated below and more as assigned by the manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Any entry-level position in the construction & scaffold industry.
  2. The employee will only perform ground tasks which includes:
    • Roping equipment to scaffold erectors.
    • Moving equipment from one area to another.
    • Keeping work area clean and orderly.
    • Load and unload scaffolding from the truck to the job site.
  3. Report to work promptly just before the shift starts with all necessary PPE, ID, and other documents needed to access job sites successfully.
  4. Perform other duties or special tasks as assigned by the foreman or manager.
  5. The ability to safely transport company vehicles and co-workers to and from job sites.

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 21 years old
  • Physically able to lift 70 lbs without assistance.
  • Must be able to climb and work more than 30 feet above ground level
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus (Spanish & English)
  • Must be available for some night and weekend work, and overnight travel to satisfy customer demands.
  • A valid in-state driver's license is required for this specific job position.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Diligent attention to direction and safety.
  • Manage time efficiently and productively.
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred, but not required
  • The ability to learn in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Basic Hand tool knowledge.
All candidates must submit to drug testing, a criminal background check, and E-Verification of their eligibility to work in the US.

Working Conditions
