Junior Accountant

Our client, a well-known consumer goods company, is currently looking for a Junior Accountant aspiring to be a Staff Accountant to join their growing team In this role, you will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22/hr - $26/hr

Position Overview:

This Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with accounting, administrative, and bookkeeping functions for the accounting and finance team. To be successful in this position, candidates should be familiar with Excel and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant:

• Assist in month-end close procedures
• Assist with budgets and financial statements
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and requirements
• Compiling and reviewing financial information
• The Junior Accountant will Assist with Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, and Payroll Processing
• Provide general support to the Accounting and Finance team

• 1 to 3 years of experience. Internship experience included
• Experience with Accounting software such as QuickBooks, or any ERP system is a plus, but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field is required
