Project Engineer

to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading project meetings, managing technical aspects, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Lead project meetings to gather and share critical project information. Review and resolve technical specifications and drawings. Coordinate the exchange of technical information between internal and external stakeholders, including the owner. Develop and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion, following up with external suppliers as needed. Create bills of materials based on project drawings and specifications. Analyze quotations using supplier information, cost standards, and technical details from various departments. Identify potential construction delays or conflicts by reviewing project drawings and suggest preventative solutions. Verify the accuracy of project charges for accounting purposes. Manage subcontractors and change orders throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited four-year college or university (preferred). At least 5 years of experience working within a construction firm. Prior field experience is a plus. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Strong goal-oriented mindset with the ability to set and achieve objectives. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence people at all levels. Proven experience in heavy civil construction projects. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project. Knowledge of Primavera P6 Scheduling Software is a strong plus.
