We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a School Cafeteria Employee. As a School Cafeteria Employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that students and staff have access to nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving meals, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and fostering a positive dining experience for all. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals according to established guidelines and portion sizes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafeteria, including dining areas, serving counters, and kitchen equipment
• Ensure that food is stored properly and adhere to safety and hygiene standards
• Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers or other payment systems accurately
• Assist with meal planning, including menu development and ordering of ingredients
• Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions
• Monitor and enforce compliance with school policies, such as lunchtime behavior and litter disposal

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
• Knowledge of proper food handling and safety techniques
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
