We proudly distribute the Mitsubishi and Bryant brands of HVAC equipment, as well as a full line of HVAC residential and commercial parts, supplies and accessories. We have locations throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey. This Class B Licensed Driver position is in Latham, NY. There is no relocation assistance for this position. Responsibilities: - Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dump trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and flatbed trucks - Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or cranes - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle - Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members - Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times Experience delivering products in a box truck to heavily populated cities required. Skills: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements - Experience operating heavy equipment and manual transmission vehicles - Ability to safely load and unload cargo using various methods - Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and time management skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
