Pharmacy Clerk II

Our Client, a Retail Pharmacy Company, is looking for Pharmacy Clerk II for their Mount Prospect, IL location Responsibilities: Responsible for performing some of the daily functions related to the processing of mail, retrieving documents, scanning documents, handling prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures, links order entry, data perfection, completing orders, and supporting any other Pharmacy Clerk (ROCC) area needs. Through your skills and knowledge, you will demonstrate solid commitment to customer satisfaction and quality, while offering solutions needed to help simplify the customer health care experience. Typical daily tasks include processing and distributing inbound non-production and outbound mail utilizing the latest processing techniques and equipment, accurately handling and entering prescriptions into the order entry and or links system, and/or review and resolution of prescription exceptions. To help support development and maximize workflow, you will be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required. Verifies paperwork and labels packages according to Standard Operating Procedures. Selects appropriate containers, envelopes, and/or boxes for packaging. Creates labels for orders. Adheres labels to appropriate packages. Operates postal scales and meters. Sends packages by appropriate transportation method. Routes labels and related paperwork according to Standard Operating Procedures. Maintains a clean, safe work area. Enters alpha and numeric data using key-to-disk standalone equipment, PCs, and other data entry terminals Verifies data by sight and machine for completeness and accuracy Follows a pattern of operations generally standardized, but frequently including rules, expectations, and special instructions, which demand close attention Good working knowledge of the operation of data entry devices and numerous applications, job formats, and system commands Operates data entry devices, verifies data, performs related clerical duties, and/or prepares documentation for data entry by assigning numerical codes to entry items and verifies accuracy. Includes rating/coding. Provide the office support needed to ensure that business objectives are met Requirements Must have excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Verifyable High School Diploma or GED Required: Yes 6+ months of experience in a data entry work environment. 3+ months of experience working with Windows based applications. Why Should You Apply?
