Integrated into our patient-centric practice is our organization's culture of provider balance and quality of life. At Cooley Dickinson, after-hours call is staffed by a robust Mass General Brigham provider care team of Advance Practice Providers and Registered Nurses who support all Cooley Dickinson primary care practices for evenings, weekends, and observed holidays.

The next member of our team will be a passionate, go-getter, who dreams of practicing in a community setting and values collaboration and teamwork. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years practice experience in a primary care setting.
Compensation:
For a 1.0 FTE, this role has an annualize base compensation of $247,000 (guaranteed for years 1 & 2, then productivity-based) plus bonuses related to sign-on and retention.
About the area:
The office is located in Belchertown, MA which is a growing residential community with a population now of approximately 15,134. Belchertown is one of the most desirable communities in Western Massachusetts. Given its location adjacent to the Quabbin Reservoir and the Swift River Valley, Belchertown has a scenic landscape and one of the largest land areas in Massachusetts. There are several opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, and boating in the area.
Belchertown, Massachusetts is your quintessential close-knit New England farm town. The University of Massachusetts Amherst nearby serves as the backdrop for abundant agriculture and the Holyoke Range - a traprock mountain range that offers impressive views of the Connecticut River Valley. The area also offers a vibrant art, and culture scene, great educational opportunities for all ages, and a location convenient to all rural and major metropolitan areas throughout New England including three major cities: Hartford (45 miles), Boston (100 miles), and New York City (150 miles).
About the organization:
The Cooley Dickinson Hospital system, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, has a medical staff of approximately 500 active members (physicians and advanced practice clinicians). The system is comprised of the Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Cooley Dickinson Medical Group, as well as a VNA and Hospice. The systems 140-bed hospital annually admits 8600 patients, treats 34,000 emergency patients, and delivers approximately 600 babies. The Cooley Dickinson Medical Group (CDMG), the fastest-growing part of the system, consists of approximately 74 physicians and 37 advanced practice clinicians who provide care at 11 locations. The VNA & Hospice averages 56,500 home care visits and serves an average of 400 hospice patients per year.
