Purpose As an Inspector, you will play a crucial role in overseeing In-Process/Final inspection. Perform Visual inspection using Microscope to ensure accurate detection of defects or abnormalities in printed circuit boards and modules, electronic components, and assemblies. Responsibilities Regular and predictable attendance required. Visual inspection using Microscope. Examine documents such as Assembly Instruction (AI), change order (CO) and verify the completeness and accuracy of documents. Skills Knowledge of safety and quality standards in electronics manufacturing. Experience using a personal computer and working knowledge of Microsoft software including windows & office applications. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Must have basic math skills. Add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to solve practical problems, ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Good communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to collaborate across different departments and levels of the organization. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector or equivalent. Familiar with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001. Familiar with Electronic Component Identification. Ability to work overtime including weekends as needed to meet customer needs and on time delivery. Comtech Telecommunications Corp. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
