We are seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner with either Adult or Family Practice Certification to provide primary care and addiction treatment at our inpatient substance abuse treatment program located in Fresh Meadows, NY. The Nurse Practitioner works independently but in collaboration with an attending physician to screen patients for admission or to provide sick call. Addiction experience is not necessary- we can teach you. On-call duties when assigned.

Requirements:

1- Adult or Family Practice Certification with minimum 2 years of working experience

2- Current NYS License and Registration

3- Infection Control certificate (required by NYS)

4- DEA

5- CPR Certification

6- NPI number

7- NYS Medicaid number (required by NYS to treat NYS Medicaid patients)

8- Will be required to obtain Suboxone certification within the first 3 months of employment

9- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience

Medical malpractice insurance is provided by the facility
