Responsibilities Conduct welding tasks with precision to ensure the quality and durability of products. Accurately read and interpret measurements using a standard tape measure. Perform basic math calculations necessary for precise fabrication. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and uphold quality standards. Engage in on-the-job training to improve skills and adapt to company procedures. Ensure safety and efficiency in a manufacturing work environment. Essential Skills Proficiency in welding and the ability to pass a welding test. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with mechanical systems and tools. Competency in reading a standard tape measure and performing basic math calculations. Ability to read and write effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in MIG welding and welding on steel products. Familiarity with blueprints, fabrication, TIG welding, flux core welding, and structure grinding. Experience with aluminum welding is preferred. Completion of welding classes or prior welding experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.33 - $21.83/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
