**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

* Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

* Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

* Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as type or product code.

* Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

* Marks materials with identifying information.

* Ensure warehouse security during business hours

* Demonstrate good customer service skills with both internal and external customers

* Comply with all applicable policies and procedures

**Education/Experience:**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Physical Demands:**

* May also engage in excessive walking, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling of parts and part containers

* Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature. Conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision.

* The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and rarely up to 70 and up to 100 lbs with assistance. The employee is required to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
