**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Maintain a strong professional relationship with hospital clients and other hospital personnel as a member of the Superior Linen Service leadership team; maintains high level of professionalism with regard to appearance, communication, and behaviors, understanding that this position is the primary point of contact with Superior Linen Service clients.

* Consistent and safe operation of vehicles (van, truck, tractor, and trailer) in accordance with Superior Linen Service policies and procedures as well as within the laws of all cities, counties, and states as assigned; care and cleanliness of assigned Superior Linen Service vehicles including following policies and protocols addressing security of the vehicle to which the HRDD is assigned.

* Recording, tracking, and reporting data that supports the Superior Linen Service operations as well as clientele in order to aid in achieving consistently high quality service outcomes that illustrate the value that Superior Linen Service provides to their hospital; communication to Superior Linen Service management with regard to issues, concerns, etc. related to transportation and logistical services.

**Education, Training, Experience and Licenses Required:**

* High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Professional driving certification.

**Particular Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

* Ability to communicate effectively in written tracking reports.

* Ability to maintain organization and control in an ever-changing environment.

* Must exhibit self-initiative and accountability.

* Must possess a quality understanding of linen services, healthcare linen needs and infection control.

* High level knowledge of commercial vehicle operations, service needs, and safety principles.

* Above-average time management skills.

**Working Conditions:**

* Must be able to stand or walk to perform all the duties in this job.

* Must be able to push/pull linen carts weighing as much as 700 lbs.

* Must have range of motion in upper and lower extremities to perform all of the duties in this job.

* Must be able to frequently lift and/or move weights as much as 75 lbs.

* Must be able to bend at the waist to place or retrieve linen bundles at or from floor height.
