With our headquarters in Oakbrook Terrace, we proudly operate four distinct car wash brands across 150 locations spanning eight states and Washington D.C. These brands include Cobblestone Auto Spa based in Phoenix/Colorado, Okie Express Auto Wash in Oklahoma City, Flagship Car Wash in Washington D.C., and Ultimate Shine Car Wash in Tennessee.

What You'll Do:

As a Construction Project Manager at Spotless Brands, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the development of new car wash facilities in the Denver market, specifically supporting Cobblestone Car Wash. From initial feasibility assessments to project completion and beyond, you'll be instrumental in every phase of the construction process.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Development Feasibility Phase:

  • Conduct thorough site selection and market analysis.
  • Collaborate on site plan and building design.
  • Navigate land use and zoning entitlements.
  • Develop preliminary project schedules and budgets.
  • Evaluate public incentives and investment opportunities.

Permitting Phase:

  • Lead the permitting process from start to finish.
  • Manage project team and consultants.
  • Oversee due diligence activities.
  • Coordinate with governmental agencies and stakeholders.
  • Review and approve construction documents.
  • Solicit and evaluate bids from general contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with budget and timeline.

Construction Phase:

  • Provide leadership throughout construction activities.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Manage RFIs and change order requests.
  • Monitor job site progress and address issues.
  • Facilitate inspections and obtain necessary permits.
  • Collaborate with operations team for successful grand opening.
  • Complete project turnover and close-out procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in real estate development or retail.
  • Proficiency in permitting and construction management.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
