We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AV Design Engineer to join our DC based clients. As a Senior AV Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge audiovisual solutions to our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of audiovisual technologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of AV systems. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand their audiovisual needs and requirements Lead the design and engineering of complex AV systems, including audio and video conferencing, digital signage, control systems, and collaboration technologies Develop comprehensive AV system designs, schematics, and documentation Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to integrate AV systems seamlessly into various environments Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for system design and integration Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in audiovisual design Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery Collaborate with installation teams to oversee the implementation and commissioning of AV systems Mentor and provide technical support to junior staff members Qualifications: CTS-D certification Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in AV system design and engineering In-depth knowledge of audiovisual technologies, including audio and video processing, signal routing, and control systems Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software for creating detailed AV system drawings Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working with diverse teams and collaborating with various disciplines (architects, interior designers, IT professionals) Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in AV system design and integration A proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction Please apply for immediate consideration.
