We are looking for a Sr QA Automation Engineer to join our quickly growing product and technology teams. As a Sr QA Automation Engineer, you will work as part of our QA team to automate test flows and plans that mimic different functional scenarios. The role requires an individual that's dedicated to the customer's experience, able to clearly voice and document issues and concerns within their testing remit, and is passionate about sports. You will be responsible for the quality, scope, and timeliness of all your deliverables. Because we operate with a startup mindset, we will be reliant on your skills, but also your passion and ownership over all aspects of your work. As a Sr QA Automation Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Design, implement, execute and maintain Python scripts in Locust Framework for generating heavy load to Hard Rock Bet web applications. Design, implement, execute and maintain Python scripts in PyTest Framework for Functional API Tests. Design, implement, execute and maintain Python scripts for one-off automation requests. Work closely with other development teams to identify and prioritize areas for load testing. Collaborate with quality analysts, developers, product owners and other stakeholders to understand requirements for load test and API testing. Designing and preparing test data to support test requirements. Collecting and reporting on test outcomes, including metrics and status reports. Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and adherence to coding standards of automated test scripts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Maintain comprehensive documentation for automated test scripts, frameworks and processes. Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and work collaboratively with the development team to resolve issues. Optimize automated tests for efficiency and scalability. Refactor existing Python code for maintainability. Installing and managing the configuration of Performance Testing Tools. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies and testing tools to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the test automation process. Learn our application(s) inside and out and become subject matter expert. Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the team. Attend all meetings on time. Work on multiple tasks in parallel. Follow Kanban Agile methodology. What are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is extremely well organized and willing to tackle problems with innovative ideas and solutions. Key Skills Required For This Position 5+ years of experience in Locust Framework (Python). 5+ years of experience in API Testing. 3+ years of experience in PyTest Framework (Python). Understanding of web and API/WebSocket/GraphQL. Understanding of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, SQLite, and Snowflake. 1+ year of experience developing bash scripts. Experience with Git version control system. 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines in TeamCity or Jenkins. In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles, best practices and testing standards. Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, trends and possible areas of improvement. Ability to deliver clean and maintainable Python code. Ability to provide constructive feedback in code reviews. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time. What's in it for you?
