Doubletree by Hilton Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale is looking to welcome a Painter to join the teamOur hotel, which has 296 guest rooms, is located next to the Fort Lauderdale beach, half a mile south of East Las Olas Boulevard. Our engineering department is comprised of our Director of Property Operations, property operations manager, engineers, electrician and admin.The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of recent experience as a Painter. Ability to work the required schedule.Shift Pattern: Full availability for AM shifts. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the hotel and facilitiesPrepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including, but not limited to, measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing paint, matching paint and using brushes, rollers and spray-gunsInstall and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including, but not limited to, hanging vinyl paper, fabric and foil wall coveringsMaintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing and lacqueringManage related supply inventory What are we looking for?Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
