Director of SEC Reporting

As they continue to expand and innovate, they are looking for a highly skilled Director of SEC Reporting to join their team and contribute to their exciting journey. Role Overview: The Director of SEC Reporting will be responsible for managing all aspects of SEC reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive public accounting experience, at least five years of industry experience in a technology or SaaS company, and a proven track record of leading IPO efforts. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K. Ensure compliance with all SEC regulations and GAAP reporting requirements. Lead the company's IPO process, including drafting and reviewing registration statements and coordinating with external auditors and legal counsel. Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and new accounting standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and investor relations, to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting. Stay current with changes in SEC regulations and accounting standards, ensuring the company remains compliant. Mentor and develop the SEC reporting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Requirements: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Extensive public accounting experience. At least five years of industry experience at a technology or SaaS company. Proven experience leading an IPO process, whether successful or unsuccessful. Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and GAAP reporting requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong leadership and team development skills.
