We are looking for another motivated, hardworking, fun MRI technologist to join our department If this sounds like you, we encourage you to applyAbout the Job:The practice of magnetic resonance is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the use of radiofrequencies (RFs) within a magnetic field on humans for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A magnetic resonance technologist performs magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or by the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. It is the magnetic resonance technologist who performs the magnetic resonance examination that creates the images needed for diagnosisWhat You’ll Do:Performs magnetic resonance procedures based on the American College of Radiology (ACR) "Practice Parameters and Technical Standards" and the ARRT “Standards of Ethics”Understands and adheres to the preparation, positioning, coil selection and exam sequences according to the Department Protocol bookActively participates in quality control and quality assurance activities using the “APIE” modelMaintains knowledge of all MRI equipment, computers, EPIC and PACS.Prepares and/or administers contract media in accordance with the Radiology Contrast PolicyRecognizes emergency situations, initiates code procedures, administers first aid/CPR, as needed and in accordance with specific MRI Safety guidelinesRecords patient symptom history on requisitionWho You Are: Clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging Modality, RequiredOR Completion of an approved MRI education program with registry eligible, RequiredCertification by the ARRT in Radiology, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine and/or have appropriate state licensure, RequiredCertification by ARRT in MRI, RequiredBoard of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure, RequiredMRI Registry with ARRT required within thirty-six (36) months of employment required.Ability to obtain BLS during employmentWhy You’ll Love Us:Health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage for full-time & part-time employeesShort term, long term disability, Accident insurance, & life insuranceTuition ReimbursementReferral bonusesAccrued earned time for full-time & part-time employees403b Retirement plans, with generous employer contributionsAnd more#CRMWork Shift:VariableSolutionHealth is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
