This opportunity begins on Dec 24, 2025, and involves 24-hour call shifts covering several urgent dates through March 2026. The position focuses on deliveries, C-sections, and emergency OB/GYN call coverage. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Dec 24, 2025 LOA: 24 days Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist Schedule: 24-hour call, 8am-8am; urgent dates include Dec 24-27 (ending 28th am), Jan 5-11, Jan 14-15, Jan 19-25, Feb 11-12, Feb 14-20, Mar 16-22 Responsibilities and Duties Manage and perform deliveries (average 23-30 deliveries per month) Perform C-sections and all OB/GYN-related procedures as required Provide emergency department call coverage for OB/GYN cases Maintain high standards of patient care and safety Adhere to all clinical protocols and regulatory requirements Additional Information Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required, or Board Eligible within 5 years California medical license required DEA certification required (may be obtained during credentialing) Clean malpractice history preferred Availability at time of name clear required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
