Summary: Responsible for safely and efficiently performing general operator duties at the project site. Requirements: Taking calls from rental vendors, project site personnel and delivery/pickup driver personnel throughout the day.Updating the following trackers daily:On-Site Equipment TrackerEquipment Down Time LogMissing Equipment Daily Inspection LogReviewing Weekly Recharge and comparing it to on-site equipment tracker.Entering in requests for new equipment and calling off current onsite equipment via Tool Watch application.Communicating with discipline superintendents and foremen for follow up and review of status of equipment and compare that to on-site equipment tracker for accuracy.Coordination between project sites and F&E/rental vendors for preventative maintenance, repairs and any other equipment down time issues.Receiving and conducting inbound and outbound inspections on each new piece of equipment arriving or piece of equipment being returned for cleanliness, fuel level and damage assessment and fulfilling the inbound/outbound inspections on Procore. Reviewing daily operator's inspections for accuracy and completeness and looking for any potential issues with equipment that need to be addressed and repaired.Assisting onsite mechanic with coordinating repairs to equipment onsite and/or calling 3rd Party Vendors or Fleet and Equipment group for repair requests.Safety:Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working.Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates "at risk" behaviors.Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's) occurs before scopes of work commence.Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.Receives job- and task-specific training prior to commencing work.Follows technical, quality and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action.Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED required.2+ years general and/or solar construction experience required.1+ years of equipment management experience required. Strong Software Program skills such as with MS Excel and Adobe or Blue Beam.Knowledgeable with using Procore.1-2+ years of inventory management experience preferred. Must be able to handle phone calls with vendors and internal teams, attend meetings and provide status of equipment on site.Must be able to understand, speak and write in English.Strong organizational skills.General knowledge of preventative maintenance.Customer service experience.Able to operate equipment such as skid steer, telehandler, etc.Experience with purchasing parts or experience as a parts runner.General tool knowledge.Size of solar projects worked on: 50MW or larger.Experience with HeavyJob and HeavyJob Manager preferred.Experience with using ToolWatch application.Anticipated base range: $22.00 - $27.50 The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Per Diem of $123.57 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation. RES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment.
