As we build a safer, more intelligent, and connected mobility experience, Magna is dedicated to creating a better future for people globally. **About the Role** As a Functional Safety Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Engineering Functional Safety Manager and team to develop and improve manufacturing systems. **Your Responsibilities** + Applying foundational Technology skills + Participating in projects and operational activities + Identifying, evaluating, and determining areas of risk and mitigation tactics + Identifying and recommending enhancements to existing processes/procedures + Participating in greater enterprise internship program events **Who we are looking for** + Pursuing a Bachelor's/master’s degree in engineering or related field. + Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment and willingness to learn. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite **Your preferred qualifications** + Ability to work 40 hours per week. + Punctual and efficient. + Discipline to accomplish work remotely. + Continuous Improvement mindset + Self-confidence to contribute fresh ideas. + Self-awareness to ask for help when needed. + Desire to learn and make an impact. + Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. **What we offer** At Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
