Custodian

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and orderliness within a client's metal stamping plant in Goodrich, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and supporting overall plant and office hygiene. Pay: $15.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in production areas, offices, and restrooms.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, machinery, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks, including scrubbing and polishing surfaces.
• Assist in maintaining safety protocols and ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards.

• Prior experience in a janitorial or custodial role.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing and office environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects as needed.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals is a plus.
