Maintenance Technician

Electrical Maintenance Technician With Crayola Factory Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul of existing electromechanical equipment. This role requires performing preventative maintenance on a wide variety of production equipment including processing and packaging equipment, and planning and scheduling PM tasks to align with production. Responsibilities: Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational readiness. Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime. Adhere to all plant safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times. Assist with the installation, assembly, and setup of new or relocated production equipment according to layout plans and manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate and timely records of all maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and modifications in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Experience and Skills: Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Ability to perform preventative maintenance and understand PLC troubleshooting and control. Proficiency in reading schematics and electrical troubleshooting, including 3-phase systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. Experience with motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electric motor clutches, and brakes. Why Work Here? Work shifts include 8-hour shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 11:15 pm to 7:15 am, and 12-hour shifts from 6 pm to 6 am in a 2-2-3 schedule, ensuring no more than three straight shifts without at least two days off.
