Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a new position in our growing company. The Analyst II level uses a variety of Microsoft and Business tools to analyze and report the performance of the company versus contractual expectations using key performance criteria such as service levels, sales volume, inventory volume, savings; extrapolating and interpreting the data to improve the companys position. Reporting and Data analysis are the prime functions for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monthly and Adhoc reporting of performance for the numerous customer related contracts.
  • Creation and use of data extraction tools (primarily using Microsoft Access or Excel tools), linked to the enterprise system, for all aspects of performance reporting, including but not limited to: Purchase history, Product history, Sales history, Current inventory data
  • Investigation of and implementation of new processes and tools to improve performance against the various KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Communicating to and educating Branch and Materials Management personnel on areas of improvement.
  • Sales support and Account Manager support through report creation, data interrogation and interpretation, allowing our sales team(s) to be fully informed.

Principle Decisions:

  • This position is set a broad base of targets and monitors, related to the customer facing KPls. The incumbent weighs these expectations in each decision required.

REQUIREMENTS / REQUESTED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in analytics, data mining and or reporting
  • AdvancedMicrosoft Excel & Access required
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Strong skill set in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word & PowerPoint
  • Experience working in (ERP) Enterprise Resource Planning Systems
  • Experience working with multiple currencies
  • Automotive or mechanical background preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and change priority as necessary
  • Good writtenand verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
