Your Role:

The Patient Navigation Educator (PNE) is responsible for providing Navigation education to customer accounts. Secondary duties include providing back up to NPMs when allowed who give patient information and education to ensure safe, effective and appropriate use of PROVENGE (sipuleucel-T) (the Product) from enrollment to completed infusions. This position will also provide backup to NAMs on infusion support when needed and allowed.

Responsibilities:

Your Work:

  • PNEs will work closely with CAMs and SAMs to give appropriate coverage to all accounts who are in need of Navigation education.
  • This role will also provide back up support to our NAMs in case coverage of an infusion day support is required. (Secondary priority)


Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

  • LVN/RN and/or BSN required

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of Three or more years of related experience in a commercial pharmaceutical industry position.
  • Minimum of Three or more years working closely with commercial team members to improve the therapy process within offices and with patients.
  • Working knowledge of FDA and PhRMA promotional guidelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to build effective relationships within the company and with external partners, at all levels, from technical/clinical staff to executives. This role requires the highest level of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, while responding to inquiries with offices, patients or commercial colleagues.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Regular travel to visit customers/accounts and work with Navigation team/customers This includes travel in the field and in accounts. Additional Travel/attendance at meetings, congresses, and conferences will occur.
  • The job is performed in a field-based setting.
  • Dendreon is a fast-paced, high volume, adaptive commercial environment. Team building and multidisciplinary problem-solving are essential to success in this position.
