What You Will Do

This position works alongside a team of Technical Trainers that supports the Viega LLC sales team by offering hands-on education of Viega products and services to our customers. You will teach them the benefits of flameless pressing technology and demonstrate how Viega products and solutions can help them overcome labor constraints. You'll help them realize how Viega products and solutions can enable them to complete more jobs, in less time, and make the experience fun.
Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and tailor learning materials and presentations
  • Conduct training for customers (executives, engineers, contractors, and foreman)
  • Develop hands-on activities and unique ways of engagement
  • Flex content and style appropriately to ensure training material is customized to the audience
  • Articulate piping methods, complex plumbing/mechanical systems, and their function
  • Answer customer questions and relate Viega solutions to their challenges
  • Travel up to 80% of the time.
Who You Are

You are able to explain and demonstrate knowledge in piping and plumbing systems and applications. You can articulate company services and offer Viega solutions to customer problems. You're able to talk about industry topics and are familiar with construction processes.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to maintain a calendar of events and plan what tools or visual aids are necessary for each training
  • Availability to serve as a backup to support in-person customer education at other Viega locations, trade fairs and special events
  • Availability to travel 80% of the time
  • High School Diploma AND
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred, OR
  • Trade School Completion, OR
  • Plumbing/HVAC/pipefitter license with industry experience, preferred AND
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Benefits

Base: $71,000 to $97,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.

Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
