Job Description

Banco Sabadell is seeking a Temp-To-Hire Underwriter to join a dynamic team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive and efficient preparation of credit proposals that comply with Corporate Loan Policy and guidelines
• Review, spread, analyze and comment on borrowers and guarantors financial statements, performance, overall credit worthiness and potential risks
• Research and provide information to the commercial teams to support their credits requests.
• Support the development and growth of the Global Trade and Supply Chain portfolio and the expansion of the line of business through the bank's domestic and international network
• Contribute to meet strategic goals and objectives related to the Global Trade and Supply Chain team

Requirements

• +2 years of credit analysis and underwriting experience in cross border lending with exposure to Trade Finance and supply chain financing
• Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field
• Ability to analyze Trade and supply chain Finance transactions covered by ECAs and other Insurers to properly mitigate the risk identified in each transaction
• Experience with international clientele
• Must be bilingual (English & Spanish)
