Responsibilities Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and startup of all types of instrumentation and logic control systems including: Flowmeters; magnetic, venturi, orifice plate Differential pressure; flow, level Level; ultrasonic, capacitance Analyzers; filter backwash optimization, turbidity, pH, gas Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) PLC and SCADA system programming Provide on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting support for control systems Perform system testing and validation to ensure proper functionality and performance Conduct training sessions for customers on the operation and maintenance of control systems Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations while working on-site Develop and maintain long-term client relationships as well as be a team player with other staff members. Travel throughout the United States is required, approximately 25% of the year. Requirements 2-year technical degree Minimum of 5 years significant experience in municipal (water / wastewater) automation projects including complex field service installation and startup activities. Minimum of 5 years knowledge and experience with gravity filter system backwash procedures and filter backwash optimization technology, Biogas and Filter Membrane Technology project experience is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems design, programming, and/or troubleshooting Having extensive knowledge and experience in water and wastewater plant processes, water plant gravity filter systems, and wastewater plant tertiary filter control systems is a plus Programming experience with hardware and software below is a plus: HMI/SCADA Application Software GE HMI/SCADA Proficy iFIX Industrial Automation Software Inductive Automation Ignition HMI/SCADA Software Trihedral VTScada HMI/SCADA Software Rockwell RSView32 HMI/SCADA Software Wonderware InTouch HMI/SCADA Archestra Software Programmable Logic Controllers Rockwell Allen Bradley PLCs Schneider Electric Modicon PLCs Emerson Bristol ControlWave PLCs Communications experience with the following is a plus: Ethernet fiber-optic data highway systems Fiber-optic testing & terminations Actuator-Sensor Interface (AS-I) 2-wire bus networks Licensed and Unlicensed Radio systems Microwave Data Systems Radio surveys Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed Valid driver's license Benefits From internships to seasoned professionals, our growing company provides career opportunities for all levels of experience.
