A leading aerospace company based in the Central US, with a legacy in civil space, commercial space, and defense contracting, is seeking a proactive business development professional. The role involves serving as the Capture Lead for DoD opportunities, supporting the DoD and United States Space Force (USSF) acquisition. Responsibilities include full lifecycle ownership, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, driving cross-functional collaboration, and developing winning proposals that leverage the company's unique spaceflight heritage and capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading successful capture efforts and proposals for complex US government service and hardware opportunities for NASA and the DoD. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and strong customer service skills. The candidate will also need to produce various business development artifacts, such as White Papers, Technical Solutions, and federal/commercial proposal responses.
This position requires a $30M+ win value on DoD pursuits.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or a Technical field, with at least 5 years of experience in business development activities. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, leadership skills, and experience with collaboration and customer relationship software is desired.
