We're on the lookout for a dedicated Commercial Loan Specialist to join our team either onsite, remotely, or in a hybrid setting, offering a competitive salary range from $65K-75K, depending on experience. This position is based in a vibrant location that will be specified upon your application. Ideal candidates will possess profound knowledge in commercial loan documentation, with proficiency in preparing various loans such as C&I, real estate, and lines of credit. Familiarity with loan closing operations, adherence to lending guidelines, compliance standards, and regulatory mandates is essential. The role demands an ability to analyze and interpret complex loan documentation effectively, alongside a keen eye for due diligence and risk management.

Commercial Loan Specialist Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in loan documentation and review or related fields. A blend of education and experience may also qualify.
  • Proficient understanding of commercial loan documentation, closing procedures, lending policies, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Capable of analyzing and interpreting loan documents, with a solid grasp of due diligence and risk management practices.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Commercial Loan Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate preparation and review of commercial loan documentation, compliance with lending policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Organize and review borrower client files, and manage the final submission of loan packages for funding and boarding.
  • Conduct daily reviews of processed work within the Notes Department and oversee the loan boarding process, including completion of boarding checklists.
  • Collaborate with lending teams for the collection, review, and distribution of due diligence items required for loan documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of fees and expenses, and communicate with loan personnel to ensure documents align with credit approvals and regulatory standards.
  • Handle post-closing documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements through thorough review processes.
