Project Summary:

The Operations Department deals with aspects of project budget management along with project recruitment and compliance adherence.

Position Summary:

MSI has a robust Operations Department that is hiring an intern to provide support on a variety of different avenues. Internships allow for a maximum commitment of 35 hours per week with a flexible schedule and is presently remote. This is a paid position, and we anticipate the candidate starting soonest after presenting an offer.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and improve the department's various internal systems.
  • Help coordinate and organize events and activities, such as meetings and tasks.
  • Edit and format reports.
  • Apply project management skills such as start-up and/or close-out, financial management, and other related processes.
  • Develop working knowledge in project management skills and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree required, preferably in international development, business, or management.
  • Minimum of one year of relative experience preferred.
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills, especially via email and by phone.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize within a multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong presentation, event coordinating, and marketing skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote required.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, required. Second language skills are preferred.

Pay Transparency Statement:

The compensation for our internship program is $17.50 per hour.
