Job Summary:
St. Christophers Hospital for Children is recruiting a full time BC/BE Neonatologist to join our team. As part of a multi-disciplinary and clinically integrated team you will provide care to the patients within our affiliated Level III NICU and Academic Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.
What you can expect:
- Work in a Level III 26 bed NICU, average daily census of 18 babies
- Approximately 2,500 deliveries a year and 400 NICU admissions. Caring for babies as young as 23 weeks gestation
- 2 Neonatologists and 1 Physician Assistant day shift, 1 Neonatologist and 1 Physician Assistant night shift, NICU certified RNs, Social Workers, Nutritionists and tenured support staff.
- 24/7 Neonatal Physician Assistants in NICU to provide support
- Newborn Nursery is staffed by pediatricians.
- The division has a strong commitment to quality improvement work and participates in the Vermont Oxford Network.
- This strong team-based approach focuses on providing the highest level of quality care and delivers excellent health outcomes that exceed the national average for critically ill newborns each year.

What we expect from you:
- BC/BE in Neonatology-Perinatal Medicine
- Graduate of an ACGME accredited Pediatric residency & Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship program
- Unrestricted PA medical license at time of employment
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification for Commonwealth of PA

Qualifications:
