**Job Duties:** + Operate high-speed digital copiers, computers, duplicators, and related peripherals for printing and reproduction. + Operate finishing equipment including booklet makers, cutters, binders, folders, and scanners. + Prioritize printing and duplication requests and orders. + Prepare copiers for extended production runs and monitor equipment during the duplication process. + Review work submitted for reproduction to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality. + Cut, collate, staple, hole punch, fold, assemble, and bind reproduced materials. + Prepare and package completed projects and materials for distribution. + Assist district staff with planning, development, and layout of printing projects. + Scan, file, and enlarge documents and materials as needed. + Stock copiers with proper paper according to project specifications. + Maintain equipment in proper working condition, perform minor repairs, and adjust equipment as needed. + Communicate with district personnel and vendors to resolve equipment operating issues or concerns. + Confer with staff concerning printing needs, requests, orders, deliveries, and timelines. + Respond to various correspondence related to printing. + Select appropriate equipment, settings, and paper stock for projects to enhance clarity of printed materials. + Monitor inventory levels of printing supplies and assist with ordering. + Prepare and maintain various records and reports related to projects, materials, and activities. + Maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition. + Ensure the efficient operation of printing and finishing equipment. To apply, please visit the Indianola CSD Candidate Portal: edk12.com/hire/index.aspx **Job Title:** District Secretary (less than 260 days) **Reports to:** Principal or Director **Supervises:** None **Position Purpose** Under the direction of the principal, to provide administrative assistance, conveying information regarding school functions and procedures; and supporting the broad array of services provided to students, parents, instructional and support employees. **Essential Performance Responsibilities** + Composes documents (e.g. notices, correspondence, bulletins, reports, newsletter, handbooks) for the purpose of requesting or providing information about school and work-related matters, activities, events, etc. + Maintains documents, files and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance. + Maintain inventories of supplies and materials. + Assists and responds to inquiries from students, parents, teaching staff, and others in a professional manner. + Manages daily communication, including phone calls, email, faxes, incoming mail and outgoing mail. + Evaluates situations for the purpose of taking appropriate action and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution. + Maintains the student information management system at the building site (attendance, discipline and other records). + Assists students who need medical attention/supplies when the school nurse is not available. **Note:** The above description is illustrative of tasks and responsibilities. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: + Associates degree with course work in business, math, word processing, office procedures and record keeping preferred. + Successful secretarial and/or office experience preferred. **Physical Requirements** Bending, carrying, climbing, lifting, driving, pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, and walking. **Working Conditions** Varied. **Terms of Employment** Nine month contract with salary and benefits established annually by the Board. **Evaluation** Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy 411.7 _Classified_ _Employee Evaluation._ **FLSA Status** Non-exempt.
